Het Witte Kasteel

We offer guided tours through the castle with a prior reservation, during which you can learn all about the more than 600 years of history of this special place. Did you know that royalty and politicians, including Louis XIV (the Sun King), Emperor Charles V, Frederick Henry and Constantine Huygens, and even Napoleon himself, have either visited or stayed the night here? Though, not in one of our three holiday homes! They have only recently been converted for comfortable overnight stays. Our Het Neerhuis holiday home can accommodate four people, while Het Theehuis and Het Wagenhuis can accommodate two. The latter two are also used as bridal suites and can even be booked as a quiet and comfortable workspace, perhaps to write a book. There’s no mass tourism, just exclusive hospitality, nature and calm.
